Ready, set, GROW! It really can be quite simple.
Which way should we expand? How fast? When’s the best time? So many questions & considerations, right? Wrong. Abraham Maslow once said, “You will either step forward into growth or you will step back into safety.” I think that’s the perfect way to look at the growth of your professional and personal pursuits. If you don’t have the courage to step forward, you’re not keeping things happily afloat, you’re actually moving backwards in a fast-paced world. Do you really want to undo your hard work? Didn’t think so. Step one: Decide you want to grow. That’s it! Step two: Now you can work out the “how,” remembering that there is no right or wrong way forward. Just move out and make minor course corrections along the way. Ready? Let’s go!
