Have you ever had a moment of conflict, and simply acted too soon to act wisely? Have you ever had a tough decision to make, and regretted your choice because you didn’t think through it with enough intention? Sometimes, all it takes to be okay with our reactions or decisions is to give ourselves a little more opportunity for thought. I’m not talking about procrastinating, but rather intentionally surveying the landscape. There is, of course, need for snap decisions and reactions, but sometimes in the heat of a moment that gut instinct escapes us. Take a moment before you react in these situations. Remain cool & in control; make a decision when you’re thinking clearly; and respond when you’re ready to communicate with integrity. Go ahead and sleep on it!
