Breathe. It does your body good (and it’s the winning strategy for long-term success).
If you’re like me, you tend to cram so many tasks in your calendar that you don’t take a restroom break unless it’s scheduled. Stop doing that! This sort of irresponsible scheduling doesn’t give us the opportunity to slow down and reflect on those important heart and head decisions that shape our future. Nor does it give us a chance to consistently turn out our best work. Taking just 30 seconds, a few times a day, to close our eyes and slowly pulling in a few deep breaths will softened the edge, and bring a sense of calm, clarity and centeredness. Breathe. Your mind, body and spirit will all thank you.
