The ideas we exchange; the tidbits of wisdom we learn from family, friends and co-workers; the encouragement & growth we experience through interacting with others; all shape who we become in life. It’s no surprise then that I’m a huge advocate of surrounding ourselves with positive and supportive people who become sounding boards for our ideas; who teach, inspire and coach us out of our comfort zone and into our potential. Building this environment often means culling someone who is “close” to us, and replacing them with a community full of cheerleaders, mentors, and sages who help keep our dreams alive and well. Are you surrounding yourself with people who are bolder and brighter than you are?
